Having impressed us a few weeks ago with the spellbinding ‘Cassia’, Bristol-based production duo Icuras return with a new track and a slight change in direction.

Whilst ‘Cassia’ was a nostalgic slice of pounding electronica punctuated with hazy melodies, ‘Gold‘ has been cut to a two-step beat, which is then smothered in textured basslines that draw in-and-out over twinkling melodies. They might two completely different tracks but they’re cut from the same piece of cloth.
