Robot84 is the alias of London-based producer Scott Ferguson, having DJ’d since the 90s – and flirted with every possible genre under the sun – he’s now plying his trade in the warmer climes of disco, italo and house.

And that holy trinity is front-and-centre for his remix of Ursula’s new single ‘1000’. Speeding up the original’s lackadaisical tempo, Robot84 festoons his remix with atmosphere, doughy italo synths and a some clever call and response between looping vocals and stodgy baselines.

‘Faded Denim’ is taken from Ursula’s new album ‘Voyeur’ which is set to drop via Insect Queen on October 30.
