Royal Ties is three French chaps who are clearly is stuck in 2007 – they make good ol’ fashioned electro – it doesn’t feature the word “future,” there are no wobbles and it’s not complextro.

It’s not the most forward thinking electro you’ll ever come across, but sometimes it’s nice to indulge in the past. On the whole the EP is a bit same-y, but their is one standout track in the form of ‘Catch 22’ – anyone say Vitalic circa 2006?
