Parisian producer Nairod is a bit of a jack of all trades, currently living in the UK but born Paris, he’s currently studying music for films and games in the UK.
Having worked on several short films, the Parisian producer has also released a staggering five albums, with his latest being Cinq which took two years to make and is inspired by the likes of Jon Hopkins, Moderat, Muse, Carpenter Brut, Gesaffelstein, Aphex Twin, Bring Me The Horizon.
His music is steeped in narrative motifs and even features extracts from some of his favourite films to give his music a story.
On the production front, Nairod’s go-to synth is his prized Prophet 08, which is front and centre on his latest dishevelled cut ‘Midazolam’ which conjures up everything from Gesaffelstein’s grisly brand of EBM to Danger’s narrative-focussed electro.
