Du Tonc are giving away a lovely reworking of Aaliyah’s ‘Rock The Boat’ as a precursor to their forthcoming new single.
They’ve strung out the original’s vocals over chatty guitars and stodgy basslines for a tasteful reworking that stays true to Du Tonc’s sepia-tinged style.
In other news, Mighty Mouse – who is of course one half of Du Tonc – has started releasing some new club-facing disco tracks, and you can check out his first effort, ‘Luna’, below. Expect big pianos, huge builds, and disco basslines aplenty.
