Trying to pin down Franck Rivoire and his infamous DANGER alias is almost impossible. The Parisian producer has made a name for himself by being one of the most mysterious producers around, basically he’s dance music’s equivalent of Batman.

He rarely releases music – and when he does – it always just appears with little or no press fan fare, by the time you do take notice he’s disappeared down some dark Parisian alleyway never to be seen again. We wouldn’t be surprised if his manager has to shine a giant D in the Parisian night sky to get in contact with him.

Well, the mystery has just gotten a little deeper today as the producer has unveiled a new side project Sunset, alongside a new track ‘Krystal’ which you can watch below.

The video, which was directed Raphaël Siboni & Franck Rivoire, is equally mysterious as it appears to have Rivoire standing infront of posy of mercenaries nonchalantly nodding along to his new track. The song is similar to his early work in that it’s dark, moody and heavily influenced by glitchy electro, but there are differences to his previous work as he’s seemingly trying to join the dots between EBM, electro and techno, in a similar vein to fellow Frenchman Gesaffelstein.
