Stream Black Devil Disco Club's 'Maymallow' (Junior Claristidge edit)

Bernard Fevre, the man behind Black Devil Disco Club, returns with his seventh studio album ‘Black Sun White Moon‘, which will be out October 29.

Before that there’s the small matter of the first single, ‘Maymallow‘, which is out now and is a hoot-and-a-half: it’s a cacophony of over-the-top Roy Castle trumpets, arp’d basslines and shallow vocals.

“When I put on the mask of the Black Devil, I never know what will happen… the instability, movement, excitement, euphoria, the mystery. There is a great deal of uncertainty because I play with fire. I’m in a game of seduction, but to distinguish myself, I create my own language, my own decor … a kind of parallel universe both psychedelic and futuristic.”
