Lindstøm is about to release the follow-up to ‘Six Cups Of Rebel’ which was released in July 2011 – the Norweigan’s new album has been made alongside follow countryman and friend Todd Terje who mixed the entire album.

It’s a unique blende of 4/4 organic techno, crisp cosmic leads and bulbous kicks. It’s almost certainly one of the best albums of 2012 and manages to find that sweet spot between analog and digital, old and new, melody and percussion. It’s incredibly short, only 6 tracks, but the way he condenses his ideas into each track is a testament to his ability as a producer. It’s not particulary showy, nor over-the-top – but a triumph of substance over style.
