The Warehouse Project has taken the UK & Manchester clubbing scene by storm over the last 5 years – well it’s the final run of events at the Store Street venue – and to this end the people behind the WHP have created one of the finest line-ups in the world.

Highlight includes, DJ Shadow, Sasha, Erol Alkan, Luciano, a Visionquest special, Annie Mac, Armin van Buuren and the return of Jacques Lu Cont!

October see’s Carl Cox and Sven Vath goes head to head, a Hospitality takeover with High Contrast and London Elektricity and also a night curated by The Horrors. November welcomes Ricardo Villalobos, James Blake Live, Loco Dice and an Simian Mobile Disco special featuring Chic & Nile Rodgers!

December goes big with live shows from Skrillex, Modeselektor and Pete Tong curating his 20 Years special on the 17th December with Gareth Emery taking over the main room on Boxing Day.

So, apparently the sneak peak of Retro/Grade’s new album was meant to be a mix and not separate tracks – this has now been rectified. So if you missed out the last time – get involved.

Retro/Grade played New Years eve at our local clubbing institution, The Warehouse Project, and they had such a good time they decided to use the footage from the car park for their new single ‘Reset. That’s right one of the best clubs in our land is in a car park – this really annoys peeps from London, who spend millions on super clubs for them to shut down because of the costs.

If you haven’t been to WHP you should, one because it’s great and two it’s not in London, and we all know they get super jealous of line-ups – they don’t like the fact the two best clubs are in Manchester. And pretty much all the decent clubs in the capital have been shutting quicker than they can open new ones. he-he-he.

Manchester’s Parklife festival has sold out in just 6 weeks, the festival will take place at Platt fields on June 12th and will see a international line-up including Booka Shade, Vitalic, Friendly Fire, Calvin Harris and many more who will be performing at the new festival.

On the friday will see the home-coming event for former Stone Roses frontman and uber Mancunian Ian Brown, who will be performing with the likes of Unkle, Bad Lieutenant, Peter Hook, Mike Pickering and Factory Records’ legendary A Certain Ratio who will all take to the stage in front of an adoring 15,000 strong crowd.

Just in case you haven’t heard about Parklife here’s the line-up.

If you can’t wait until September for your fix of The Warehouse Project, then fear not, they have just announced that the Project will return over Easter with four massive parties planned.

Running from April 1st-4th it’s full of massive names and will be the only weekend prior to the main September – December run.

Kicking off on Thursday will be 2Many djs and Annie Mac, Friday will be Drum & Bass via Hospitality including Roni Size and High Contrast, Carl Cox will be making his WHP debut alongside Eric Prydz on Saturday, and ending the weekend will be Dubfire and the Cocoon crew.
