We’re not going to bore you with the whole Aeroplane split thing, quite frankly it’s old and boring, but we will excite you with the third mixtape from The Magician, aka Stephen Fasano, who used to be Vito’s partner in crime or co-pilot.

Well, he’s just sent his latest mix over and we’re reliable informed that his first remix, since the incident, is nestled somewhere in the mix, but of course being a Magician he wants us to identify it, by magic of course.

After the split of Belgium disco duo Aeroplane, Vito de luca is flying solo, but we’re glad to report that it impacted their remixing abilities. They have turned their hands to the Chromeo’s new track “Don’t Turn The Light’s Out”.

Chromeo of a disco duo from America and are proof that Jews and Muslims can get along, their new album is going to be ready soon and is called Business as Usual. And while you wait try out their new song remixed by probably the best remixer of the moment.

After the news that Aeroplane were going to split many had wondered what would  happen to the other member Stephen Fasano, well now we know, he’s called his new project “TheMagician” and you can listen his new Soundcloud mix here.

It’s not much of a departure from the Aeroplane mixes and we don’t have track-listing to know whether there is any of his own production is in it.

As regular as clockwork HBF favourites Aeroplane, have just dropped their latest mix and it’s a belter – we went to see them at Mint Club in Manchester on Friday and were suitable impressed, perfect mixing & track selection – all topped off with a great intimate venue with a pumping sound system.
