The main man behind electro blog DiscoDemons has done a splendid edit of Glitch Mob’s seminal hit ‘We Can Make The World Stop’.

DiscoDemons said about the remix: “I have always loved this song but found it hard to play it out in the clubs due to its tempo

“So here’s an edit of it for you all to hammer out in your DJ sets! I’ve pushed the tempo a bit, rearranged parts of the original to create more build-ups, added extra drums and fx, a new bassline plus a completely new synth hookline, and generally fattened it up a bit for the club”.

Mysterious new Italo artist Letthemusicplay is giving away his debut track – we’ve no idea who this person is – but he/she is already getting support from the 2 Bears, Jacques Renault, A-Trak and Pete Tong.

If we were to have a guess – we’d say it might have something to do with………..well we have no idea. Not only can you download the original from the mysterious artist, but there’s also a remix of the original by Letthemusicplay too.

It’s all a bit like Inception but with remixes.

Esoteric electro duo Logo made a remix for Django Django’s ‘Default’ unfortunately they missed the deadline and the remix never made it to our speakers – well they’re giving it away to first 100 people who manage to snag it. Ready. Set. Go.

Over the last 12 months Scottish producer Mylo seems to be making all the right noises for a welcomed return to dance music – we’ve had handful of remixes (which have all been amazing).

Well, 2012 might well be the year that Mylo finally makes a proper return, 2 years ago we had one new track – which was excellent – now we have another remix from him for The Do’s new track ‘Gonna Be Sick’.

Amazingly Yuksek’s new album ‘Living Life On The Edge Of Time’ hasn’t been released in the America yet. Well, this travesty is being righted with an impending release through Ultra Records on February 14.

We remember writing about him a few months ago and said: “if Esq made techno it would sound like Siriusmo” – a bold claim – well Esq is back to prove a point.

Yesterday we gave you details about the new Shindu EP ‘All In My Fridge’, well today we’re giving you one of the tracks for free – it’s the Pharao Black Magic remix – who turns the original track into a bewitching deep disco interpretation.

Shindu’s EP will be out January 20 on Beatport and all other outlets February 3 via German label Kiez Beats.

Alex Metric had a very successful 2011 with the release of his remixes album and to celebrate the New Year Metter’s is giving away his 2007-esque electro track ‘Raveaggeddon’ via his Facebook page.

2012 should see the prolific remixer finally release his first debut album which has already been canned once because he wasn’t happy with it.

The kind folks down under, Future Classic, gave away probably the pick the bunch when it comes to free tracks over Christmas with the Magician’s effortlessly happy remix of Scenic’s ‘Another Sky’.

L’Etranger is the moniker for French touch producer Ben Thomas, who is actually from the UK , we’ve never really heard of him before, but with any submission with the words French, Touch and Crydamoure in it, we thought it was worth a listen.

He’s re-edited Deelat’s ‘Wetness Athem’, which a classic French Touch track from Crydamoure (Guy-Manuel De Christo’s label, who is of course one half of Daft Punk), so you can expect to hear happy horns, cut-up samples, chatty kicks and claps – everything an French touch aficionado needs. Grab it for free and keep an ear out for L’Etranger in 2012.

The third great remix in a row for Swiss-kid Show Your Shoe, this time it’s for Portuguese producer SaiR and his track ‘Clockwise’.

Nico creates an infectious cocktail of piano stabs, spongy analog basslines, served on his tight Swiss beats. He’s managed to that find a finite balance between his usual micro-funk output and more aggressive club disco and house – it’s already being tipped as his finest remix to date, and we couldn’t agree more.

There’s a serious side to Ronika-ka-ka-ka-ka, (who knew?) her new track ‘Clock’ features mature vocals from Charles Washington and shows that she knows how to mix things up a bit.

Her first couple of tracks were firmly in the realm of party disco, ‘Clock’, however, is a more considered duet, it still keeps Ronny’s unique vocal talents, but they’re tempered with the deeper, more languid vocals from Washington – it’s more synth-pop than disco, but shows this Madonna of the midlands is talent that is definitely worth keeping and eye out for in 2012 and beyond.

Troumaca are a indie group from Birmingham, but they’re not just your ordinary indie group, they like to experiment with club sounds – so you can expect to hear bits of ‘step, dub and other colourful influences in their music.

It’s quite a combination, but if you like what Bodi Bill are doing, then they’re a logical progression. It’s not too showy, or cynical, but really adds some depth to their music – imagine if Trentemoller made dubstep and you’ve got Troumaca.

This tropically inspired 5 piece from Birmingham via St Vincent & The Grenadines, will release their debut EP, ‘The Gems’, as a free download from 12th December 2011.
