If you are planning to release an album this May you might want to hold-off. Not only are Daft Punk making their long-awaited return with ‘Random Access Memories’, today Justice also announced their new live album ‘Access All Arenas’ will be out on May 6 via Ed Banger/Because.

Kavinsky released his first single, ‘Teddy Boy’, in 2006, since then he’s been gathering pace like a classic car, with only fleeting appearances to continue the mysterious narrative of a man possessed after crashing his prized Ferrari on the way to see his girlfriend.
Justice will release the next single from their ‘Audio Video Disco’ album tomorrow. ‘Helix’, is the third single to be taken from the album and is quite possibly the strongest release from the album thus far.
The bosses of the crosses, or as we like to call them Justice, are prepping the next single to be taken from their second album ‘Audio Video Disco’. ‘Helix’, which is out on January 12th via Ed Banger, comes with remixes from Parisian noise maker Gesaffelstein and Domenico Torti, as well as a new track ‘Presence’ which is almost certainly the hidden track from the CD version of the album.
One of this year’s biggest disappointments was Kavinsky’s debut album slipping to a 2013 release – but all is not lost as the French producer has just showcased a new track from the album, called ‘Odd Look’, which has been used in a new BMW advert.
Yesterday you got a free sample from Breakbot’s debut album via the serene ‘Another Dawn’ – well today comes the official video from the previous single ‘One Out of Two’. Breakbot’s debut album is out on Monday, September 17 via Ed Banger Records. We. Can’t. Wait.
Justice’s new EP came out on Monday and from the moment we downloaded it its been on heavy rotation. Not only do you get the original, but a Live version too – while the live version is great, it’s just makes you want to hear a full Live CD – hopefully that will happen sooner, rather than later.
We’ve been waiting to post this remix for a while, but we weren’t willing to jump the gun unlike some others – basically, it’s arguably Oliver’s best remix to date.
Already a contender for album of the year Breakbot’s debut album has finally been announced by Ed Banger Records, called ‘By Your Side’, it is going to be out sometime in September. To celebrate this the super-kind folks at Ed Rec are giving away a brand new track from his forthcoming single – check out ‘Programme’ below which is the b-side to his next single.
Ed Banger records and SebastiAn have released the video from ‘Love In Motion’ which is the latest single to be taken from his debut album ‘Total’. Directed by Gaspar Noé and featuring child-actress Lente Tresor – it is, how should we say this, a bit controversial.
Justice have done a minimix for Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show and it’s entirely made up from classic rock tracks from AC/DC, RATM, Ennio Morricone to TOTO, John Carpenter and King Crimson.
Because Music are celebrating the completion of Breakbot’s first debut album by sharing a DJ set from the king of funk – it was recorded when he warmed up for Chromeo in Toronto last November.
We saw Erol Alkan at the Warehouse Project a few weeks ago and he played a new Justice remix of ‘Canon’, we can’t be sure if it’s this one or someone else’s, but it’s wasn’t brilliant. And this isn’t either.
The inevitable happened last night as Justice’s second album ‘Audio, Video, Disco’ leaked online – now we do not condone music piracy – but realise that it’s inevitable that you want to hear it – we know how you roll. Well, the lesser of two evils would be to stream it, right ? Well, someone has uploaded a stream on soundcloud, so you can peep the release below. If you like it, which you should, buy the damn CD. We’ve got it on pre-order, so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t too. We’ve reviewed it and fell head-over-heals for the duo’s mature rock opus. Now it’s time for you to decide for yourselves. Hit or miss?
Justice’s second album was always going to create a bit of a stir, and if you’re expecting Cross 2.0 then you might want to get your coat. It’s not. But, it is the soundtrack to a rebellious 80’s Hollywood action film that never got made. It’s big on grandeur, emotion and stadium rock. It never deviates from the concept too far, but it captures all those emotions you get from a classic action film where the hero, against the odds, saves the day and get’s the girl.
Not often you get a post on the weekend, but we’ve just spied a new Justice track called ‘Newlands’ – it’s a homage to 80′s glamrock; big electric guitars, 80′s vocals and even bigger guitar solos. It does lack a bit of their famous gritty production style, and almost sounds a bit too clean. But we do like it a lot. Their second album ‘Audio, Video, Disco drops in less than 3 weeks. October 24th is a date to put in your diary.
Here it is. A snap-shot of what the bosses of the crosses Justice have up their sleeve with their new album ‘Audio Video Disco’ the follow up to the Cross. Out October 24 via Ed Banger.
Well we did say that there wouldn’t be any new music until Wednesday, unless there was some new music from Justice or Daft Punk – well that went out the window yesterday with a post on EWE.
Here’s the fantastic video for Justice’s second single ‘Audio, Video, Disco’ directed by So Me – the single will be out September 19 with remixes from Mickey Moonlight and Para One via Ed banger.
