On Saturday 3rd of October, Manchester’s latest club Sub 61 will open with a tech-house and techno extravaganza courtesy of Anti:clockwise.

Sub 61 boasts a capacity of 600 and has an ear puncturing 20k sound system, they’re promising an underground booking policy, so no Roger Sanchez then.

Zoo Project heavyweights Saytek and Kanio will be christening of the 20k sound system with their heavy rolling techno.

Saytek’s fans include John Digweed, Lauren Garnier and Carl Cox, his diary includes visits to mUmU Liverpool, Zoo Project Ibiza and Sankeys.

His obsessive love of hardware see’s him rocking up at clubs with groove boxes, synths, Kaos pads and various other noise mangling gadgets before arranging, re-sampling, and tweaking filters on the fly.

With bookings well below the commercial radar and two solid residents, Anti: Clockwise looks to take the first step on its mission to bring more forward thinking music to Manchester.

The small venue is looking to balance intimacy and space carefully, so to create the best clubbing environment for everyone.

The night runs from 10pm ‘til 5am.
