The New York based Satoshi Tomiie is making his much anticipated return to dance music with a techno monster under new guise MES.

Called “Back to Basics” it’s going to be released through his own Saw Recordings; which he views as a forum for experimentation and creativity regardless of style; just music.

Apart from DJing all over the world and releasing an impressive 80 singles and four artist albums, Tomiie is responsible for all-time dance music classic “Tears” with house legend Frankie Knuckles.

Back to Basics + Asylum + Circoloco = A Good Time

Leeds’ very own Aslyum and Back to Basics have decided to join forces for a one-off Circoloco party at the extraordinary Victoria Works warehouse on Saturday 17 October.

For the last 6 years, Asylum has grown in to a clubbing brand to rival any in the country, Back to Basics on the other hand have been a firm favourite in Leeds for more than 17 years.

Both clubs are run by charismatic individuals and since Asylum’s birth there has been consistent talks between Dave Beer and Tom Thorpe about combining their talents.

So, they have decided to host a warehouse party with one of the most infamous clubbing brands on the planet, Circoloco.

Headlining will be Timo Mass who is one of the finest DJ’s, producers and remixers on the planet.

Timo has had releases on Cocoon, Ultra and Ministry of Sound, whilst having the pleasure of remixing everyone from Jamiroquai to Kelis.

Timo is widely regarded, as one of the pioneers of the tech-house and minimal movement and his DJ sets are always show stopping.

Tania Vulcano will be playing alongside fellow DJ Tato which is a U.K first.

Tania is probably Circoloco’s main resident, she was amongst the first wave of DJ’s to join the infamous brand over ten years ago.

Her musical style and legendary DJ sets formed the benchmark at DC 10, giving her instant respect and recognition on a global level.
