Oringinal Sin aka Adam Tindall is the next drum and bass rising-star to release his debut album, hot on the heals of contemporaries like Sub focus and High Contrast.

Stepping into an arena dominated by such names would usually be a daunting road to take, but Adam Tindall, better known as Original Sin has a dance music pedigree, which easily matches that of his contemporaries.

Born and bred in Newcastle, Original Sin has made a name for himself as king of dance floor drum & bass, while his exclusive record deal with DJ Hype & Pascal’s immense Playaz record label empire proved to be the making of him.

Unlike Sub Focus, Original Sin has his roots in all aspects of drum and bass and doesn’t pander to the commercial side of dnb, showing that it’s all about attitude and not radio friendly songs.

The opening track ‘therapy’ sets the tone for what is to be expected – high energy dnb which deep moody bass-lines and acid-tinged synths showcasing the darker side dnb.

‘R Bass’ is an epic track marrying soft-syths and melody at the beginning with pulsating street-grime bass to great effect. Ear bleeding stuff.

Original Sin showcases his talents in dance floor dnb throughout this album, with sharp fizzing-beats and throbbing underground bass-lines bringing a underground edge to the whole album.

The first of his more experimental tracks come in the form of ‘Pimp don’t limp’ layer vocals over a simple breaks intro, with spine-tingling grimey bass -- it turns out be one of the stand-out tracks and encompasses everything that is new and exciting about Original Sin’s sound.

‘Step on’ takes the album up a notch with muffled vocals and jarring beats, this is going to be appreciated by hardcore dnb fans and certainly won’t be the next big cross-over track of the year. No compromises necessary.

‘Bastard Killer’ is sure to be a clubber favourite with bass-lines best left until 5am and a breakdown that will lure clubbers into a false sense of security until an almighty drop comes and smashes the dance floor. Truly epic stuff.
