When we see the words ‘French’ and ‘House’ in a submission we always check it out. And more often than not its always on the money.

HDMX are French.

A good start then. But there’s more.

Their latest has been remixed by The White Shadow — and guess what? He’s also French.

His remix of HDMX’s latest, ‘Signal From The Sun’, is the kind of club track that doesn’t come around all that often in our humble opinion.

Pairing a freight train groove (that sounds a lot like Maceo Plex’s remix of GusGus from a couple of years ago) with an expansive palette of futuristic soundscapes that range from warehouse techno to hands-in-the-air italo, The White Shadow delivers a captivating cut that’s a full nine minutes long, which gives it all the time in the world to morph from aggressive to blissed-out and back again without losing that all-important unrelenting groove.
