You can imagine that if you live in earshot of Glastonbury some of the festival’s magic would rub off on you and you’d be right. That’s exactly what has happened to UK-based brothers Speakman Sound.
Brothers Todd and Guy are the brains behind Speakman, and their sound has been inspired by their father, who apparently is a well-known guitarist in the world of psychedelic music, and it kinda shows.
‘Pangea’ is a frisky cut of propulsive indie electro that’s caked in psychedelic motifs and aquatic melodies, it manages to hit just enough to satisfy fans of both free-flowing indie and psychedelic electronica.
