Last night it was confirmed that one half of Mexican DJ and production duo Climbers – known to his friends and fans as Kiko Deal – has died in an accident.

The news quickly spread online with a huge outpouring of grief on social media. Since the announcement his friends and family have created a GoFundMe page to raise money cover the costs of his funeral and transport of his body back to his family.

The duo emerged at the begining of 2011 and in only a few months had their tunes played by artists like: Art Department, Droog, James Teej, My Favorite Robot, Tanner Ross, Miguel Campbell, Miguel Puente, Catz n Dogz, Death on the Balcony, Richy Ahmed, and Dead Seal.

Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time.

On August 9th we tragically lost Heriberto Aguilar Marquez aka Kiko Deal of Climbers.

Kiko was in a sudden and tragic accident in Mexico City, and we need to raise funds to help pay the hospital and funeral costs and to help transport his remains back to his family in Mexicali.

Those who know Kiko know what a special person he was. He was not only a talented DJ and producer but also a great friend to many of us.

Anything you can do to help will be appreciated no donation is too small.

Thank you.

Help spread the word!

Head to the GoFundMe page to show your support.
