Boys Noize has lifted the lid on his fourth studio album – which has been given the title ‘Mayday’ – and along with it the Berliner has unveiled three new tracks.

“I always try to challenge myself as a producer and a musician,” says Alex Ridha, aka Boys Noize. “Keeping the purity of electronic music but taking it somewhere new is the most difficult, and most motivating. MAYDAY is me taking the music I love to the future, no matter how uncertain the future seems.”

You’ll have probably already heard ‘Overthrow‘, and now you can hear the excellent ‘Euphoria’ featuring Remy Banks, and ‘Starchild’ which features POLICA on vocals.

‘Euphoria’ sees Boys Noize deliver a proper club thumper; deviously simple on the surface, the combination of a brain-melting synthline and a clever rap sample makes for a powerful, stripped-back, club weapon.

‘Starchild’ – on the otherhand – sees the German in a more reflective mood; as he pairs POLICA stunning vocals with rat-a-tat percussions line and soaring evanescent melodies – it’s arguably one of his best tracks to date.

We’re calling it now, Boys Noize’s new record will be straight fire.
