Daft Punk fan website DaftBootlegs, via Daft Punk Tumblr http://ifcwdjd.tumblr.com, has uncovered a treasure trove of rare Daft Punk photos from the duo’s first ever live tour, where Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo played shows at Global Gathering, The Carros Festival, Heavenly Social, London After Midnight and Tribal Gathering.

Daft Punk Bootlegs is described as “the only site (to date) that has an almost complete collection of Daft Punk live photos with location and dates”, they’re also asking fans to try and identify where and when some of the unknown photos were taken – so if you happen to have been at any of the shows they’re asking you to email them with the information.

Back in those days, the duo regularly brought their own sequencers and drums machines to shows as a live component, which even today most producers and DJs won’t even consider.
