When Soundcloud relaunched their app offering last year they moved their focus from creator to user, and understandably they received quite a backlash from power users who felt that the new app stripped away a lot of functionality they had a become accustomed to.

Today, Soundcloud attempts to right this wrong with a new app, Soundcloud Pulse, where the focus is squarely on the creator.

The app feature a range of tools for creators – including the ability to reply to comments directly from within the app, up-to-date stats, the ability to share sounds that have been uploaded already, both publicly and privately, and users can now follow accounts from with in the app, too.

Currently the app is available now on Android and will be making its way to iOS soon.
