Kraak & Smaak’s burgeoning label Boogie Angst continues to go from strength-to-strength and we’ve bagged the exclusive first play of the duo’s latest sizzling slice of disco.
Set to be released on August 14, K&S combine the best of house, funk and disco for ‘Seb’s Party’ which skips along on a bed of pulsating, quirky basslines, scattered snares and plenty of disco guitar licks.
Remixes-wise, the package comes with a deeper interpretation from newcomers Fouk, who have been making a name for themselves with releases on Detroit Swinde’s Heist Recordings. They’ve remixed the single’s other track ‘Way Back Home’ – which features vocals from the band’s singer Ivan – flipping the original into a moody yet mellow groove that oozes summer vibes.
