During Hudson Mohawke’s Rinse FM take over last night, the Scottish producer unveiled a new track from his forthcoming album, ‘Lantern’.
‘Ryderz’ is an ode to Just Blaze and Dipset and comes hot on the heels of ‘Very First Breath’ which premiered last month as the Hottest Record In The World on Annie Mac’s BBC R1 show.
Mohawke’s new album comes some six years after his last album, and in the intervening years has seen Hud Mo worked on releases from Drake, Kanye West, John Legend, Young Thug, Pusha-T, and Antony Hegarty.
Lantern is released on 15 June on Warp Records (16 June in the US); available on Double Gatefold Vinyl, CD, Digital and limited ‘First Edition’ Vinyl with pull-out print and exclusive bonus track.
