This week it was confirmed by Vanity Buzz that Tron 3 will go into filming this autumn – leaving open the question will Daft Punk reprise their role and score the film’s soundtrack.

Apparently the film has yet to be properly green lit by Disney. But despite that it’s being reported that Joseph Kosinski will return to direct the third instalment of the franchise, having impressed with his last feature film, the sci-fi epic Oblivion starring Tom Cruise.

Tron: Legacy, which was rebooted by Disney back in 2010, was widely panned by critics, but it made Disney a cool $400,000,000. And one shining beacon of hope was Daft Punk’s excellent score that just about saved the film from total disaster.

At the earliest the film would be released 2016/2017, so – would you like to see Daft Punk reprise their role and score the as-yet unnamed sequel to Tron: Legacy?
