An eagle-eyed fan of Kraftwerk has managed to record a video of Kraftwerk’s live setup which, up until now, has been a closely guarded secret.
Taken during Kraftwerk’s recent live performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam this is the first time we’ve seen what’s exactly behind the group’s futuristic lecterns.
It would seem Ralf Hütter isn’t scared of new technology as the group are bestowed with a treasure trove of equipment including iPads running TouchOSC, Cubase, synthesisers, drum machines – the lot.
People in the know have listed the majority of equipment on show, which includes a Novation ReMOTE ZeRO SL controller, an MK I Maschine drum machine controller, MIDI keyboards, and even an iPad which appears to be running Lemur and TouchOSC.
Check out the video above for a closer look at the German pioneers’ live setup.
