‘All I Wanna‘ is the new EP from Ex-Mustanger A.N.D.Y., it’s also the first release from Andy Faisca’s new label Higher Ground. And continuing the newness theme: ‘All I Wanna‘ also marks a change in direction for the Belgian producer.

Having cut his teeth with disco duo Mustang, A.N.D.Y. has gradually moved away from that archetypal Belgian disco sound with his latest EP marking another shift from him into the drop-centric world of electro.

Now, thankfully, Belgians have been handling bangers in the right way for years, so it won’t come as a surprise to hear that A.N.D.Y. doesn’t disappoint with his new abrasive, no-nonsense direction.

‘Don’t Give A F***” is, as expected, a shouty slab of electro backed by all the trappings you’d associate with 90s rave. The b-side doesn’t really deviate too far from the a-side – but instead of rave it takes its cues from trap and other bass off-shoots. Thankfully, though, Andy knows what he’s doing and doesn’t fall into the trap of just making a straight-up trap track as ‘All I Wanna‘ flips seamlessly between trap bass and prickly electro.
