‘Home‘ is the new single from Maurice Aymard and Gui Boratto, and is the first release to be taken from Aymard’s forthcoming debut album ’Between Stars‘.

Aymard and Boratto are widely regarded as two of South Amercia’s leading electronic producers, and ‘Home‘ offers a glimpse into Aymard’s new album which is already being lauded as one of the most sophisticated underground house albums of 2013 thus far.

The single is being released on Aymard’s Galaktika Records, and was recorded during a 24-hour whistle-stop recording session which saw Boratto head straight from the Airport to Maurice’s studio in Barcelona to record the track. The result is suave piece of lounge-y house that floats along on a bed of languidly funky basslines, doughy pads and smokey keys.

Speaking about the collaboration Maurice Aymard said: ”I’ve known and been a huge fan of Gui for several years now. He released an EP on Galaktika way back in 2007 and remixed my own track, ‘Put Some For Jules’ in 2010, so when I was recording this album I knew I had to get him on it somehow.

“Luckily despite his crazy schedule we managed to get him to Barcelona We didn’t have much time, but got straight to work in the studio and well… It’s Gui, everything he touches is magic!”.

For the single release Aymard has also called upon the Berlin based British producer Jay Shepheard to remix the track and the result is a stunning up-beat house gem.

More than two years in the making, ‘Between Stars’, Aymard’s debut artist album has been a labour of love for the Venezuelan. Recorded almost entirely live, Aymard travelled the world to collaborate with musicians and singers in Barcelona, Berlin, London and Venezuela who could help to bring his vision to life.
