Astute label boss and ever improving producer, Freak You has been supplying us with a range of electronic gems for quite sometime now, and his latest offering is a remix of M83’s ‘Steve McQueen’.
He takes the original and turns it into a swirling club track referencing everything from chicago house to electro clash during a 7-minute journey of pulsating basslines and eerie synth flourishes. After a positive response from DJs such as Cosmonauts, Grum, Mighty Mouse, Matt Van She, Cosmonaut Grechko it then saw M83’s official blessing – and is now being made available to download for free from Freak You’s Soundcloud page.
