Elusive Parisian producer Dombrance has released a stellar remix of fellow Frenchman Ben Ellis’s most recent Indie Pop EP, ‘Into The Light’.

Dombrance has seamlessly applied his signature ominous spin to Ellis’s fluffy indie original, shunning the poppy piano opener in favour of a deep bouncy bassline and chanting vocal hook.

Almost tribal in feel, Dombrance’s unusual effects and well-placed snippets of melody bring some welcome light and shade to the seven minute long track, without which this rework would have been unpleasantly monotonous.

Dombrance proves himself a master remixer with his take on ‘Into The Light’ by dramatically editing the original without losing Ben Ellis’s catchy aesthetic. A song guaranteed to get stuck in your head.
