Our good friends over at Disco Demons have done a tribute re-work of Gil Scott-Heron’s ‘I’m New Here’, here’s what Disco Demons said about the re-work: “Here’s a very personal tribute to who I believe was one of the most remarkable persons of our time – not only in a musical way: Gil Scott-Heron. The track is mainly based on “I’m New Here”, but I used samples from six other tracks of the self-titled 2010 album, including “Where Did The Night Go”, “New York Is Killing Me”, “Running” and three spoken interludes.”
