Jacques is back. Once again the super-producer has dropped another out-of-the-blue free track – called ‘Underground’ it’s proof, once again, that: British bangers are best.

Drawing on electro, techno and tribal house elements it’s an insane fusion that probably shouldn’t work. JLC’s classic synth work is still in there, but it’s draped in a vale of haunting effects and stomping kicks. By the time you hit the half-way mark you’re understandably looking for a bit of progression. Thankfully Mr Price throws in a almighty breakdown that soothes your brow before you get slapped across the face by the full-drive. Basically it’s JLC doing proper club bangers, but with a sophisticated veterans touch.
