L’Etranger is the moniker for French touch producer Ben Thomas, who is actually from the UK , we’ve never really heard of him before, but with any submission with the words French, Touch and Crydamoure in it, we thought it was worth a listen.
He’s re-edited Deelat’s ‘Wetness Athem’, which a classic French Touch track from Crydamoure (Guy-Manuel De Christo’s label, who is of course one half of Daft Punk), so you can expect to hear happy horns, cut-up samples, chatty kicks and claps – everything an French touch aficionado needs. Grab it for free and keep an ear out for L’Etranger in 2012.
