The Black Ghosts’ second album ‘When Animals Stare’ is out August 1 via Southern Fried Records and see’s Fake Blood’s Theo Keating join his dark electronic forces with the harmonic vocal talents of former Simian member Simon Lord.

It’s a genuinely original long play and falls somewhere into the world of post-dubstep electronica. It’s might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but is a rewarding forward thinking enterprise nonetheless.

It shows off a wide range of subtle influences including lo-fi, hip hop, dub and electro, making this indie-pop, electro-folk-tech long player quite a listen. It’s not a million miles away from experimental 4-piece Bodi Bill.
