Shindu Mixtape

Shindu are the famous DJ duo from Ghent, they Dj under the name Static and Greedy and as with most Dj’s they’ve got plans to get into production.

So like most dudes in Belgium they scrolled through their phonebook, skipping past names like 2 Many Djs, Mickey, Mustang and finally stopped on Sebastiaan Vandevoorde (known from Villa, Moonlight Matters) to help with their production – and to complete the team they’ve got a female vocalist, Chibi aka Tine Vanwijnsberghe, to sing.

They’ve sighted contempoary influences like Rex The Dog, La Roux, Robyn, Grum, and Ali Love – and we’ve had sneak peak at couple of their tracks and they are catchy as hell and have a gleaming pop slant throughout. Soon as we heard them we thought Rex The Dog – so we like it a lot. And it’s in the mixtape – we like it even more now.
