It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Paranoiak, the label that looks after an exciting crop of new aritsts, from Star Guitar to Irish Steph – and today they pointed us in the direction of the ever decisive DECIDE.

He’s not  actually part of Parnoiak, but is a friend of the label – we know nothing about him, his bio is in french – so we’re waiting to hear back from him but he is giving away 8 tracks and the mystery allows us to judge him without any preconceptions.

As far as we can tell DECIDE is more of a funk-orientated electro artist – with seamless melodies and clean percussion throughout – never too overbearing, but always exciting and an easy listen. Just enough bang for your buck.

First of we have their remix of Midnight Juggernauts – warm melodies with creamy bass combine to make a nice remix. With a profound edge throughout.

They then turn their magic wand to Mintel Rose’s ‘Wildbirds’ and the results are great – bit of Gemini Club vibe. That a cool vibe by the way.

Stromae’s House’llelujah gets a house makeover – we’re not entirely convinced – but it’s not terrible that’s for sure. Just not our cup of tea.

Moving swiftly on Surkin gets the gleaming euphoric treatment – kinda reminded of the funky electro of Shook.
