Tone Idle are a London duo that’s star might be on the way up if this track it anything to go by, The Roll Drums is London infused big beat stomper – you can just see this being rushed in some dirty east-end warehouse. We love it. Hailing from the big smoke and Brighton these guys remind me of early Plumps and a little bit of Touhe “Give us the paddle”.

Comprised of two young musicians Marc Manning and James Matlock. They have been also worked closely with A1 Bassline, Tek-One, Joy Orbison, Home Park, Films of Colour and Kavsrave and have all been friends since school. Must have been pretty sweet music lessons there – so they know their way around the London scene and it shows. If you were to play this track blind-folded you automatically think London, probably Fabric on a breaks night. Enough said.
