New website Radiotuna launched today and promises to revolutionise the way we search for internet radio, it’s attempting do what Google did for the search engine for internet radio searching.
Radiotuna is an online radio search engine that gives you better results and is easier to use than many other sites, if you search for an artist you will be connected to a station that is playing them or to one that will be playing them shortly.
In its ‘Dance’ section, there’s about 40 sub-genres. The site takes pride in its genres and doesn’t just lump all house and techno into one category, they’re all catered for separately.
The site was set up by three disgruntled mates from Brighton who love internet radio, but found it too hard to find new stations. “We thought searching radio should be easier (we like easy stuff), and we also felt were missing out on great stations, so we built RadioTuna.”
