Disturbing new murder figures have brought two of Jamaica’s most influential DJ’s, Adijah Palmer and David Brooks, together after it was announced that a staggering 1674 murders were attributed to warring DJ Factions on the Caribbean Island.

Prime Minister Bruce Golding has requested the Palmer and Brooks attend roundtable talks in order to to quell the ongoing violence.

Mirroring the Crips and Bloods form LA, the name “Gaza” and “Gully”, a reference to the two DJ’s, are graffitied all across the slums and poorest areas of the island.

The graffiti has lead to increased hostility and has promoted violence amongst their loyal fans. The bitter feud dates back four years when their were a staggering 1800 homicides.

Mavado said: ” I just want the youths who say ‘Gully’ or ‘Gaza’ to know that it’s just music”.

Let’s hope their can a peaceful outcome or they can expect a visit from gang guru Ross Kemp.
