Way-Out-West---We-Love-Machine_01

Bristol-based progressive house duo Way Out West are set to release their latest single from their critically acclaimed fourth album ‘We Love Machine’.

Future Perfect is without question one of the leading tracks from the album ‘We Love Machine’, and the latest remix is set to be a massive song for the year.

Way Out West consist of Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren and they have been one of dance musics best duos for over 16 years, with a string of hits singles and albums under their belt.

One half of Way Out West Nick Warren has just been voted number 58 in the top 100 DJ poll, which has cemented his credentials as one the world’s best DJ’s.

Embracing the Radiohead model, they let fans stream the album in its entirety from the Way Out West website, before then offering it for sale. Commercial suicide? Not as it turns out.

“It’s gone so, so well,” buzzes Nick. “The response has been massive for it. There’s the panic in the industry that we have to stop the illegal downloading of music, and frankly, I don’t think it’s going to happen, so we might as well embrace it, and use it as part of the promotion tool.”

“We’re like typical Bristol boys, same as Massive Attack and Portishead, we take about four or five years to do anything,” says Nick Warren, by way of explanation for the relative late arrival of the last Way Out West album, ‘We Love Machine’. “But then, I think it’s our strongest album, and it’s got the best response.”

Way Out West have been touring the new material to rave reviews and the response has been fantastic especially in south america where he has a massive following.

“Some of the best gigs for me this year have been in Mexico,” he adds. “I did a Mexican tour about three months ago, and it was completely off the hook. Like the old days in Britain, where you’d have 2000 people going nuts for the entire night.

“I’ve always had a good following in that part of the world. They like that deep, melodic techno and proggy style house down there.”

Like Jeff Bridges being one of the most underrated actors in the industry that is Hollywood, Nick Warrren is easily the most underrated DJ since… well ever actually.

He continues to dazzle and amaze many with his intelligent mature, patient mixing and a very impressive track selection.

Warren recently became head of A&R for Hope Recordings, keeping him immersed in the shifting tides of new dance-music movements. “I’m doing same thing I did when I started—just playing music I love,” he says.

The latest single is a carefully crafted dancefloor piece, which looks destined to become a classic, with strong support from many of the world’s greatest DJ’s.

As the name suggested improving on this was never going to be an easy task but after remixing artists that include Bedrock, Sasha, Tiesto, Guy J and Jim Rivers, Henry Saiz once again proves why he is one of this year’s hottest properties with another superb remix.
