Not many electronic dance artists can compete with Rodriguez Jr – aka Oliver Mause – At the ripe old age of 29 he has already released two awarding albums as one half of the French electro outfit The Youngsters, he’s already achieved more than most will in their whole career.

During the last six years he and his partner have released numerous EPs and remixed tracks for dozens of artists.

Their two studio albums were released on F-Com – and saw them collect several awards and accolades along the way from some of dance music’s biggest names.

After success catapulted them onto the international circuit, they were given a platform to take their electrifying live act to some of the biggest clubs and festivals in Europe, South America and Asia several times over.

Now Oliver Mause is flying solo with a very personal project Rodriguez Jr, he has been hauled up in his self made studio in Brussels churning out music that can be leftfield and experimental or rich, melodic and poppy – depending on his mood.

Brussels-based Rodriguez Jr has had him exploring his inner creativity with no boundaries or rules and it has already been producing great results.

The musical re-discovery that he has found with the moniker Rodriguez Jnr has allowed him to step off the release/gig/release merry-go-round and has seen him draw inspiration from artists from Kraftwerk to Stockhause.

We have a beautifully crafted piece of music from Rodriguez Jr – drawing melodic house vibes and a cultured minimal beats together in perfect harmony.
