Anders Trentemoller is a scary looking man from Copenhagen you could easily mistake him for homeless person, but behind the scruffy beard and comedy hairstyle is a musical genius that has changed landscape of Electronic music.

Trentemoller came to prominence with the release of massive EP “Physical Attraction” on his own label Audiomatique in Febrauary 2005.

Since then he has had a string of successful remixes notably Royksopp “What else is there”, The Knife “We share our mothers health” and Moby’s hit “Go”.

Anders debut album “The Last Resort” was released on Steve Bugs Poker Flat in October 2006 and was a very personal project for Anders relying heavily on his musical mastery of melancholy and emotion rather than his raw style of remixing.Trentemoller-739726

With a more downbeat dubby style his album was widely claimed to be the best dance album to be released in 2006.

Standout tracks from the album were “Miss You” and “Moan” which showcased Anders talents with more traditional forms of music making.

The album was also voted album of the year in “Groove Mag” in Germany and French magazine “Trax”.

Trentemoller cemented himself into the upper echelons of dance music with his critically acclaimed live shows, which he plays keyboards with band and old DJ Partner DJ T.O.M.

Trentemoller went back to the studio in 2007 to produce the “Trentemoller chronicles”.

The first disk comprises of some of Anders personal favourites from his own back catalogue including a remix of Klovn’s “McKlaren”.

The second disk made up of 11 of his remixes, including reworks of Sharon Philips, Tomboy and many others.

We have a remix of Chris Isaaks “Wicked Game” it’s a well-executed remix of a pop classic and should go down a treat.

It has a regae minimal vibe with a tinge of dubstep which is very fitting for today’s current sound.

As ever right-click to download.
