Top UK producer and DJ Mark Knight has been on a rich vein of form recently with his productions getting tighter than a black hole, and his label is going from strength to strength, things are looking rosey for the man from Maidstone.
As of 2009, Mark is ranked 51 in the DJmag top 100 DJs, his star starting rising when he took a residency at Ministry of Sounds and he has held it ever since.
In 2004, he launched his own label, Toolroom Records, as a place to release his own productions – the label has been a massive success and boasts an extensive catalog of artists.
This summer you will be able to follow the exploits of Mr Knight on Beatportal as he blogs about his summer tour.![]()
Coinciding with the tour he is just about to release a brand new mix compilation – Toolroom knights 2.0 which will include three exclusive tracks.
‘Manheim’, ‘Club Politics’, and a special remix of Leftfield’s ‘Phat Planet’.
As well as playing all over the world this summer, he is taking the helm at Space and Pacha in Ibiza hosting some unforgettable Toolroom Knights parties.
We have two songs for you to sample – last year biggest tune ‘the man with the red face’ and ‘shogun’ both of which have a sprinkle of Funkagenda for good measure.
